This. Of course, any kind of booze that comes from Scotland is going to be fantastic.
Took this from a friends web site who ownes a pub / hotel in scotland
The food and drink available at Benleva is what we believe makes a visit here truly special - top quality food accompanied by award winning cask ales and over 50 malt whiskies.
I love you man! (in a totally platonic heterosexual sort of way)

They started selling a second variety of the Gunn. Aged in Rum barrels. Gives the beer a caramel note that is awesome. Doubt they have anymore at the LCBO, but if you see it, buy it.

Yeah, I got that one a couple of times. They also have the a Blonde which I tried and wasn't too thrilled with. For the price it had better be damn good like the original.
On Canada day they released a short run of bottles in boxes that were aged in Canadian Whisky barrels. It was very very good as well.
They had a box set out before christmas with a glass and 3 bottles, the original, a Rum and an "IPA". I put the IPA in quotes because while it was good, it wasn't as bitter as an IPA should be.
this thread is done unless we bring it back to pilsner or cold shots.
Dude, I can and do drink plenty of the simple beers. A cold "anything" tastes good when you've been working hard or when you're drinking up a bender with the boys and Kristy. But most of us are not 15 anymore (not that I'm advocating underage drinking). When we drink beer, it needs to actually have some flavour that differentiates it from any brand.
so sad. one day you'll learn. anyway it should be done. look in the OT section for a real beer thread and thanks for starting the discussion. A lot learned in this thread.
agreed however im sure we both agree a flat of pillies may take us back in time, dwan shouldn't mess with phil ivey, and im out of cold shots and ill take triple sec....

I call it 'aiming fluid'..started with pool, but I now find it is an equally applicable term for all sorts of drunken activities.

I use the twice a year rule, as well. I picked July 17th as my "gap" date for 2010.
