If you were a fan of the Jays in the early years up to the glory days, you must click the link and follow the directions to get Tom Cheek on the final ballot for the Ford C Frick award for excellence in Baseball Broadcasting.

I find it ridiculous that you need to be a Facebook member, but it's the least you could do if you ever listened to him call a ball game. One of the best ever imo.

    If I didn't effing hate facebook I would do this in a heartbeat.

    Cheek was the man. I was a huge fan from about 83 to 92 when I got into other sorts of activities.

    I voted, but he is never getting in the hall. Toronto is way to down on the radar of the public for the fans to vote him in.

    Damn shame too, he was one of the best broadcasters ever.
