Christmas

What is Santa bringing you?

Milo will be receiving a new 500 chip set of Ceramics for his Friday night BS poker fest.

Because he has been a good boy, I am sure he will get a nice, warm sweater to boot, probably in some sort of earthy shade (tan, kakhi, green etc.)

How about the rest of you . . . and none of that peace on earth crap without an autographed copy of the bible as proof.

Geez, you have been a really good boy this year! or this some sort of sick fed brag? :) I gotta feeling that fed will live on long after his demise here...

Yes, I have been a good boy this year.
  • New computer chair so I can be more comfortable playing! Most likely some clothes and other regular stuff :) Only thing I know for sure is the chair though, rest is a surprise! :P

What do I win? (besides this thread, obv)
  • No fair. You had Larry before Christmas. You forfeit your share of Mommy's cookies. Fortunately, I know a deserving boy who will give them a good, if brief, home.

Which ceramics? Pics when you get them pls
  • They're from Unique Poker Chips. Casino Classics. I think the pix are on the site, in my album. They aren't great pix, I am not a camera guy.

Yup, they are there. Basically a micro cash set. Nickels are the butterscotch colour, dimes are the aqua, quarters are purple, and the greys are a dollar. The pix do not do them justice, but I am biased.

I believe Zithal bought his new tournament set from here. They are beautiful chips.
  • Were they the Jubilees? They're the 1/4 pie chips. I have them for tourneys, as well. I think the Orangeville Leagues uses them too . . .

    I have no idea.

You'll have to come to a Bristol in the new year and find out.
  • For xmas I have gotten/am getting:

    - trip home to Victoria to take care of a 16 year old remake of myself
    - 2000 Chevy Blazer, which includes a 45+ hour straight trip driving it from Victoria to Toronto with my dad (I believe this comes with the new ultra migraine option included)
    - cell phone with Telus
    - hookers and blow (the Mrs. is so good to me)
    - a poker room full of easy money (Thanks Caesar's Windsor!)
    - Glee on Bluray (may have to settle for DVD, but I better not)
    - two weeks of fresh BC oxygenated air to breath

Other than that, no bloody clue.

Now I ask you, how the hell would I have fit all that into my poem . . . honestly.

And as for the drive back with your Dad, it could be worse. It could be your brother instead. I am thinking that, somewhere around the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border the RCMP might become involved. If you asked nice on the phone, Sharantyr might bail you out, but I doubt it.
  • someone should start a loot thread..so we can all barg about what we got.

Little early, but I'll start one up as soon as I get home from work on the 24th, okay?
  • sounds good...remember people PICTURES ARE IMPORTANT!

Which reminds me to try and get someone to take one of my sister and my tradition of putting our Christmas underwear from Mom on our heads for the duration of the festivities.

There's some snaps of my chips in my album, and a great pic of my daughter when she was around two/three . . . do some work, for Christ's sake.

Thus I deserve my own poem (haiku counts)

Naw, Steve and I get along famously. Dad and I actually get along really well too. Now, those two together, they'd be lucky to get past the ferry ride without shots being fired :)
  • Snowflakes fall on Cerb,
    The fat elf flies overhead
    Hockref is busto

    All better?
  • Well...the gf and I decided not to spend a pile on each other, so we picked a couple games out for the PS3 and brought em home.. I got the new COD, Modern Warfare2...which, by the way, KICKS ASS!

We bought the munchkin a bunch of new cloth diapers...she can at least tear open the soft pkgs...also got her some megablocks and stuffies.. Everyone else will be inundating her with toys and clothes..
  • Milo, that's the first poem anyone has ever written for me outside of prison. I'm touched... and thankfully not like after the poem in prison...

    I miss Bonesaw...
