So you fist yourself before playing NLO? Is this some kind of competitive advantage? Is it like the stinkpalm of poker?

Oh punctuation and homophones, damn them to hell!

  • If you're a weak player, then you should avoid NLO.

The good players advantage over donks is *HUGE* in NLO.

    Much greater than in PLO.

Obviously, I consider myself a good omaha player, but no way in hell do I agree with this statement.
  • If you're not a bingo player, then you should avoid NLO.

The good players advantage over donks is *small* in NLO cause the donks just shove pre.

Obviously YOU consider yourself a good omaha player. Whether or not you are ACTUALLY a good Omaha player, well...

Yeah build a big stack and call with any 4. WTF Total bingo.
  • Being a reg in PLO, I've also dabbled in NLO, and Reef is not entirely incorrect IMO.

The BINGO concept is attached to NLO, as no matter how much your edge in the game, you can get your money in good, and be a good favourite (2/1), but usually much closer (6/5).....which will be brutal for variance purposes. But long haul, you will show a tidy profit.

If I'm playing 1 tourney, I would rather be PLO (less variance).

If I'm playing 100 tournies, I would rather still rather play PLO, but NLO would be close (eventually will win a flip or two).

That being said, live tournies should ALWAYS be PLO.
  • If I told you of a hold'em game that you could always get your money in 55/45 or better- you'd love it.

Hating NLO doesn't make sense to me. Weaker players with more ways to get money in makes my panties damp.
