Poker language
My name is Gerry and I represent a translation company involved in the translation of poker-related material.
We are recruiting people to help us evaluate potential translators.
I am looking for some very experienced on-line poker players who would like to help me by proof-reading texts about poker to ensure that our translations will make sense to other poker players in their native language. Your job would be to compare the English text with the version translated into your native language, and advise us of any changes you would recommend. We will pay you by the hour at a mutually agreeable rate.
If you are interested and are fluent in English, but your native language is one of the following:
Russian / Finnish /Norwegian / Danish / Spanish / French / Japanese / Dutch
please contact me at: docondquay@yahoo.com
Tell me about your poker experience, specifically how long you have played and at what skill level. I would also like to know a little bit about your education, how you learned to speak English, and any other background information you might want to tell me.

It's awkward, at best, in Dutch, so I remain puzzled . . .
