For anyone interested, Jason Gunnlaugson, one of the eight skips vying to be the Canadian representative at the Olympics, lists his profession as poker player.

CTV Olympics - Young Gunnlaugson ready for the Roar

I'll definitely be rooting for him this week although he's got almost no shot against this field. I've seen one game they played and they seem like a fun team to watch. Also, Gunnlaugson is apparently known for being the hardest thrower in curling:

It's hilarious watching the sweepers try and run alongside the rock.

    Went to see Draw 1 of the men's, he definately throws the hardest rock I'd say. Apparently he's only 19 and it's his 1st year skipping. Pretty sick.

    Gunnlaugson, the 25-year-old poker player and fan favourite who earned the final berth to Olympic trials, finished the tournament with an 0-7 record.
