Cdpoker is by far the worst site

For all of the potential new players to Cdpoker i highly recommend you dont invest, the corruption of on-line poker is vast and there isnt a site that runs honest and true. Cdpoker and the Ipoker network are a prime example, i can show obvious corruption and manipulation just by my games alone which include thousands of sit n gos and tournaments. Its too bad the real truth isnt explained more about these bullshit sites, they all run a program designed to protect the weak and stupid, this is accomplished by thousands of suck hands programmmed into the system that save the weak call and terrible overbet on alot of occasions. Sure poker is ruthless and unforgiving at times but i can guarantee Cdpoker is deceptive and manipulative. Its not just my games that will prove my accusations i have statements made by 2 particular VIP reps from Cdpoker made to me in confidence that would make anyone raise an eyebrow. This is the start to making people aware that they are not in control like most think they are and i cant wait to expose the scumbags at Cdpoker.

I will mention what i was told when i get all the names correct.

  • OP, please send my your entire HH and I will run an analysis on them.

    Now, where's my tinfoil hat.
  • and this:

  • Strong allegations and no evidence. Just saying a site is "bad" does nothing to prove your point. People do that all the time because they are bad at poker and lose money. If you really want to make a strong argument and people to believe you then back it up with PROOF.

+1, this guy even wrote a blog post about it:
I tested a poker bot on CD Poker | Poker | GoodLuck Gambling blog

[X] bots are easy to write
[ ] running a bot against micro stakes cash games for 20 mins proves it works
[X] you can write a bot that can run on most (if not all sites)
  • Irregardless of the uninformed and unintelligent OP, I think you are all naive if you blindly think that there are no bots playing on many popular poker sites and that there is not MAJOR cheating going on as well. This does not mean that these sites/games are not still beatable, but it amazes me how quickly people forget major cheating scandals an the largest poker sites -- UB/AP/FT/PS/Party, etc. It also amazes me how several supposedly well-informed players on this forum continue to support sites like AP/UB as seen by posted hand histories.

The online poker industry is likely one of the least regulated and most corrupt industries around:

How is Phil Hellmuth never questioned about his continued support of one of the most corrupt sites in online poker history? How is Russ Hamilton allowed to walk around a free man? Dutch Boyd, Justin Bonomo, etc, etc, etc...

Being somewhat uninformed (I know, what a shock), I'm assuming the bolded sites are connected to the italicized names? Again, falling into that naive category, had heard about the corruption at AP/UB and avoided them completely. Stars, Tilt, Party? Haven't heard anything. Again, not saying there isn't, just haven't read about it. Probably because I'm not playing for much, if any money, so I just chalk it all up to really bad players (myself included).
  • I was playing live with this guy a couple weeks ago and he was trying to convince me that there was a site which would allow you to see all the players hole cards (and community cards) on Pokerstars before they were dealt for the next three future hands. I told him he was full of shit, that this would be the end of online poker if this ever was made public. He was really convincing and really seemed to believe it. Still waiting for him to send me the link (better not hold my breath).

confirmed, this was being talked about on 2p2 about 2 weeks ago.

I don't have to confirm to you guys that it is probably another scam:)

I propose that every statement above is incorrect!

Bots are not easy to write... They are complicated computer programs that 99.99% of the population would not even understand!

Running a bot for 20 mins on a poker site does indeed prove it works! It's just doesn't prove it is a profitable bot!

I certainly cannot write a bot that can run on most sites! That's a shot at myself as much as anyone!!

writing bots sounds like F U N! still pretty good at my BASIC from back in high school :)

You can find the source code quite easily in the webz and I bet that more than 0.1% of the population can understand the code.

I should have been more specific 20 mins does not equal a profitable bot.

It's the old "I can crack the rng" scam. The only cards being looked at ar yours and being shared with the scammer

can you copy and paste some code as an example? what program runs the code?

Finding the source code on the web and writing the code are two very different things, and you're way optimistic about the general population! There's people out there that can't program VCRs.

uhhh, I think if you tried to write the code in basic you would still be at it at the turn of the next century... lol..

Lol I remember those from High school

what's the deal with a "bot"? do they infiltrate the software itself and change the outcome or predict hands or do they play good poker for you?

No, they can't infiltrate the software, but if done right playing a bot should be like playing one of the smartest poker players in the world. Here is a great article about bots:
How I Built a Working Poker Bot, Part 1 - Coding the Wheel
  • thanks Graham
    that is an interesting read

in theory I guess it would be like playing the smartest player in the world to an extent but it also would be only as good as whoever is writing it.

I imagine it would be created in the eyes of the programmer and if they're a shit poker player so is their bot
  • awesome link graham.

    thanx.
  • I like thier 12 man sit and goes....Done fine there using a pso bankroll. Bring on the bots! Not a mainstream site I would play long term, but VC is part of that network and also have done ok micro stakes there. Still would be intrested in those statements that raise an eyebrow though.......
