Open to both Men and Women age 19 and over.
York Region Poker League will be operated as an alcohol free, non-profit group with an emphasis toward charity fundraising.

Buy-In: $50 all to prize pool. (+$20.00 with the two options listed below)
Starting Chips: 3,000. (+ 2,000 = 5,000 with the two options listed below)
Limited to the first 60 entries.

Format: No Limit Hold'em - Freeze-Out after first 30 min.
Re-Buys: Limited to one only (during first 30 min.)
Re-Buy: $50.00 for 3,000 chips (all re-buys go to the prize pool).
Prize Pool: Top 10% of players paid from total prize pool.)

section for more details.

For Tournament Rules see the Files section, we play by TDA rules and Roberts Rules of Poker.
All decisions by Tournament Director are final.

Option #1 Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to go toward
paying for the, hall, tables, chips, cards, audio visual equipment, website,
etc. As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,000 in playing chips.

Option #2 Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to "The Canadian Diabetes Association". As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,000 in playing chips.
With the two above options, the starting stack will be 5,000 playing chips.

The blinds are designed to end the game by 1:00 am.
