Well it kinda says so in the article: "He said Loto-Quebec also plans to collaborate with the lottery corporations in five other provinces that already offer online services. They are British Columbia and the four Atlantic provinces."

    not sure how this will differ from playing at any other site? not sure if it will take off.

    Their liquidity (# of players online) will suck until they really start marketing it, thats for sure. Even then, unless they make it worthwhile to play there I don't see them posing a real threat to other online poker sites.

    BCLC, from my understanding, is the main reason the BC Poker Championships are so poorly attended by pros this year. They (bclc) will allow no promoting of any online gaming sites any more. BCLC has it's own branch, (which wouldn't surprise me if it included poker in the future) of online gaming...playnow.com.
