I would drop the nickel dime etc on the side with the denom and leave it blank or put a location or something else there and if you are only getting the 4 denoms I would put the 4 suits on the back otherwise you will have a giant pot of all spades which might get confusing. Also putting the denoms on the rolling edge would be cool.
Finally if you are running a $5 buyin cash game, you aren't even ordering enough chips for 10 rebuys.
Thanks for the advice, moose. The spade is the only one that works perfectly with the "swirls" on the label. They are hard to see on the mock-up, but they are very visible on the sample set I have. The club works, too, but it would look just as odd with only two of the four suits, so I am leaving the spade, as I like the image. The quantity is fine for my requirements, which is why I am getting them. Re-buys are not an issue for the game these chips will be used in. I have the denoms on the rolling edge of my tourney set, and wanted something different for these, hence the name on the rolling edge, instead. Best of all, wifey likes 'em too . . .
Making the chips in a set different from each other helps a lot when playing. Having different graphics/edge spots on all the chips helps those of us who are colour blind / nearly blind identify which chips are which.

Hence the accompanying text (Nickel, Dime, Quarter, Dollar).
Where did you order them from? So far I ordered all my chips from the same place but it's a US company and the duty and delivery through UPS make it very expensive despite the excellent price from the company. Hoping you found a good Canadian solution.

US supplier, but he does not use UPS. USPS rates mean shipping is about $20.00, tops, and no duty as he marks the package as a "gift". No corporate identifiers on the box, so the border cops have no reason to say otherwise. Very happy with my supplier.
I also own a set of the Jubilee 1/4 pies that he sells. Great looking chip. He just ended a sale he was running on ceramics. If you ask nice, maybe mention you saw the Classics, he might give you the sale price anyway. Couldn't hurt to try . . .
I won't need chips for a few months. I am pretty much sold to the NexGen chips to be honest. I don't like Ceramic much. If it wasn't so much work to clean clay chips I would probably go for that, but I use about 1500 chips for my tournaments 4 times a week and 2000 cheques for my cash games so I don't want to have to wash them one by one with a toothbrush... that would be crazy!
Wish there was a simple way to clean them, a machine of some kind

Thanks again for the input.

If you want to compare prices, I use Casino Supplies, Gambling Supplies, Gaming Supplies – Discount Casino Gear for the time being. They have great prices on everthing, but the UPS charges are just insane.
