  • Why was it a great read? Just because you guessed correctly? You called off your almost 20BB stack preflop with AJ? Could easily have been dominated or a flip at best....??? Be the bettor (ie aggressor) not the caller.
    Now if you say he had been pushing constantly well then maybe...

    Sorry, forgot details. Was sorta pissed off at the time. Yes, I had notes. Had seen him make same bully all in raise from the button 4 times while he was at the other table. Got called twice, both times with a weak Ace... both times he caught... maybe I shoulda waited... ah well, live and learn and at least it wasn't for my entire roll. :)

    ive come up with a theory that ive never read yet, that when it comes to losing plays you only have to analyze the hands that you lose..... is this a common accepted principle?

    anyways its your hand vs his range
