Legalize poker in Canada
Hello everyone,
Consider this a bit redundant but I believe it is still very relevant. Two years ago I created an online petition to legalize poker at the Federal level in Canada. There is another petition listed on this site for legalization in Ontario. I can tell you from experience in speaking with the AGCO that they will not allow anyone to legalize poker strictly at the Ontario level.
Their response to my conversation? "We want to bring bingo into the 21st century".
Please take a moment to read the petition and put your name to it. I am currently working on a private member's bill to support poker as a game of skill rather than a game of chance, which would legalize it across Canada.

Good luck with your efforts, it will definitely be a tough battle (I signed it). You should talk to some of the people in the US also (Poker Players Alliance) to get any insight from them.
