lol, and you know what will happen... we'll completely ignore you.. hehe..
  • Keep up the good work, shippppppp.
  • Glen just took the lead:
Erik Nomberg raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Glen Chorny called on the button. Chris Bjorin then called in the big blind and the flop came down Aspade.gifKclub.gif9spade.gif. Everyone checked to the turn where the 7spade.gif hit the board.
Bjorin bet 30,000, Nomberg folded and Chorny made the call. The river was the 8diamond.gif and Bjorin checked.
Chorny bet 75,000 and Bjorin quickly moved all in for about 100,000 more. Chorny insta-called and Bjorin turned over Kspade.gifQheart.gif, assumingly making a move with the naked nut spade card.
Chorny showed Qspade.gif6spade.gif for the second nuts and Bjorin exited the final table area. Chorny now has the lead with nearly 1 million in chips.

HUGE POT BELOW — ISAAC BARON TAKES CHIP LEAD!!! Glen Chorny raised on the button to 38,000 and Theo Tran moved all in for 261,000 in the small blind.
The action came to Isaac Baron in the big blind who asked for a count. After thinking it over, he announced all in for about 735,000. Chorny then asked for a count from the dealer and after a few moments, he decided to call as well.
Tran turned over Adiamond.gifKdiamond.gif, hoping the other two had pairs. He got his wish when Baron showed 9heart.gif9spade.gif and Chorny showed the superior 10heart.gif10club.gif.
The board rolled out 7diamond.gif6spade.gif5spade.gif3club.gif8heart.gif and Baron spiked a straight on the river to double up to a massive chip lead of over 1.7 million. Chorny was left with 595,000 and Tran was eliminated from the tournament.
  • WOW.... Glen is gonna be steaming about that one.... he hates Menlo
  • This might ease the pain a bit

Action folded to Erik Nomberg in the small blind and he moved all in for just over 140,000. Glen Chorny snap called with Adiamond.gif9club.gif and Nomberg showed a dominated Aspade.gif8heart.gif. The board came down 6club.gif5heart.gif2heart.gif10diamond.gifJdiamond.gif and Nomberg was eliminated, giving Chorny back some of the chips he gave up to Baron.
  • GG Choron

Isaac Baron raised on the button to 54,000 and Glen Chorny moved all in for about 250,000 in the big blind. Baron instantly called with Aheart.gifKheart.gif and Chorny showed down a dominated Aspade.gif9diamond.gif.
The board ran out 8heart.gif4spade.gif2diamond.gifJheart.gif3spade.gif and Chorny was eliminated.
  • wow menlo runs goooot, so sick
  • Thanks for railing me everyone! I tried my best to own it, but the cards wouldn't let me...I got rivered about 7 times after the TT versus baron so its pretty tough to win tournaments when the cards come out like that...I tried my best and I'm actually pretty impressed and happy with the way I GRINDED the short stack and outlasted TWO people who had HUGE stacks... lol!
  • I felt like it was Baron's destiny to win after he spiked the river on me...

3rd place = $76K? There's a lot of reasons to be happy that have nothing to do with grinding out as the short stack :)
  • Congrats Glen, CPF members have run well @ Caesars in the past couple of months!
