Poker Tracker Question

I heard you can now graphically replay hands with poker tracker. Is this a new feature? I currently use Big Slick Software to do this, but they don't keep as detailed records as PT.

Also, I'm wondering if PT can replay entire tournaments? Like a huge mtt's etc. If anyone has used both software can you compare some advantages and disadvantages? Thanks.

  • yes, poker tracker enables you to graphically replay your bad beats over, and over, and over again!
Actually I found this to be an exciting feature that really let you re-live the hand.

From my experiences I believe that you can only replay one hand at a time, but I could be greatly mistaken, seeing as I only started using that feature yesterday.

I believe ScottyZ will know the answer for sure.
  • Yes, you can graphically replay hands (AFAIK, only one hand at a time).

I don't use this feature too much. If you're more of a visual learner, it would probably be a nice feature as an alternative to just reading over the hand history itself.

Probably the most interesting/useful thing about the hand replay would be it showing you the probabilities of winning the hand and your pot odds at it goes along. Unfortunately, I believe your probability of winning is only based on the *known* hands, so a lot of information is missing in these kinds of calculations.

  • Well, with Big Slick Pro you can replay entire tournaments. It's great for MTT players who like to evaluate each and every hand after a tournament in an effort to improve their game.

However, if PT had this feature I'd dump BS and go with PT in a second.
  • WOW!

Just got done reading this thread and I had no idea that PT had the ability to replay hands. I might just go and pick myself up a copy now. :)
  • It's only one hand at a time. You might as well just read it.
  • The new version wil let you play all the hands in a session. Check the auto play button

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that. That's actually pretty cool.

I might just have to revisit this feature.

  • So is Poker tracker free software? LOL. I might sound like a newb in this discussion but I have never ever used the program before.

So if it is FREE software, what website do you get it from?
