Depends on:
-pot size
-hand strength
-opponent image and estimated range
-position
If I'm first to act, I like to lead with continuation bet of about 1/2 to 2/3 pot depending on how hard I hit the flop, and how likely my opponent missed it. Bet size is a delicate skill to acquire, but if you think you have a strong hand, you should always be the aggressor and bet out. Bet large enough to make drawing hands make mistakes to call, and small enough to keep interest from your opponents when you have a monster.
Again, posting some hands for evaluation would be a good start.
