Guitar Hero 5 and Metallica help (Wii)

Just bought my first ever guitar hero game. I cannot figure-out how to allow more than 1 player to save a profile in either game.

Help!

This is for the Wii, but I assume would be the same across platforms.

I don't know if they fixed it in 5, but it didn't work in world tour. I lost all my scores and whatnot during the swedish championship since people kept messing with my ps3 harddrive during breaks XD
