We are writing to inform you that we have suspended your chat privilege for 3 hours as a result of your chat on 2009/10/04.


Harassment of other members will not be tolerated.

Your chat privilege will be reinstated automatically once the suspension period is over. There is no need to write to support.

Our goal at PokerStars is to be a fun place to play, where everyone can feel comfortable. Abuse and other disruptions to the games takes away from everyone's enjoyment, and therefore will not be tolerated.

    If the other player is truly an "idiot", then berating him by mentioning his stats from tracking sites is the worst thing you can do. Not only does it make the fish either leave or find out how much money he's donating online, it also makes the poker sites want to ban SharkScope, OPR, etc.

    I read that chat log as meaning it was T8 who was calling the other player an idiot and the villian mentioning T8's ITM stats... Not sure tho...

    the Card Room Rules.

    spaces or other characters, or otherwise defeating the censor
    is a violation of the Card Room Rules.

    Agreed.

    I don't want to waste mental energy "educating" the other players.

    "Good" players slamming fish is one of the things that makes me cringe....


    Besides — Playing 18 tables ... who's got time to berate the fish?. ...

    I hate people trying to educate others, telling them it was a horrible call and a suckout. I want the fish to keep making those kinds of calls, all day.

    I hear what you're saying......but, in this particular case, the fish was not actually a fish, I picked one stat of his that I considered sub-standard (his ROI was actually much higher than mine, despite the low ITM%). He was berating my stats, which is when I looked him up and found a good number......my point, this was no fish.

    2ndly.....do you honestly think it will make them better? I have always berated guilty free.....but if the consensus say it makes them better.......I just don't see how this is possible. I've heard this 'don't educate the fish'....but, the fish have low I.Q.'s and don't educate easily, especially not from the trash-talking tilt-monkey that I am.


    And, oh, I only usually MTT 4 at a time, so I have plenty of time to type away.
