Something to help you focus...
So, I'd been getting killed online since the begnning of July. Haven't lost a ton of money thanks to my resolve of starting with small amounts and winning in order to play with other people's money instead of my own. Then, in the last week I'm up about $700 (yay me). My wife asked me "what changed?" So I stopped and really thought about it for a couple of minutes...
Ice cream.
I changed my diet at the beginning of July. Got rid of a lot of bad habits, not the least of which was my ice cream addiction. I've dropped about 20 pounds of yuck since then (double yay me instead of Double D me). In the last week though, I've been doing a bit of stress eating and gotten back on the cream (ya ya, I know, insert whatever sophomoric joke you want, just make it funny AND original) and in that time, BOOM, big poker win.
From this, I have two questions:
1 - What is your trigger to help you focus/play your game?
2 - Is it worth the extra pounds to carry around if I'm winning more?

Then, exercise more when not sitting on your ass in front of the monitor, so that the cream does not turn you into Raymer's twin brother . . .
omg, Milo....there are times you are just too funny. Good one!!!
I just pulled a switch from my normal chair to a resistance ball. It's helping my posture and forcing my core to work while playing. So far the experiment is working.
Oh, and I'll give that a C+ Milo. I smiled, but no laugh. Sorry.
Good stuff with the weight loss. Keep it off. You'll have more energy for sure.
