Pitbull Poker Makes Suspicious 'Midnight Move'

Right on the heels of the Ulimate Bet and Absolute Poker scandals, it appears that another online site, Pitbull Poker, is trying to hide something.

I suspect Pitbull Poker has superusers! - Internet Poker - Online Poker Forum

One lucky thing about playing on a Mac, FTP and Stars are the only option so I don't get sucked into these lower tier sites.

Pitbull was Flash based - meaning you could play on their site using any computer (PC or Mac) without installing a poker client. Convenient? Certainly - at least at times. But it sure as hell also sounds like an inherent security problem to me. I would never assume card data was secure on such a site and would, therefore, never deposit a penny of my own money with them.

I've been following that thread on 2+2 for several weeks now. Recommended reading for all - if you have a couple hours to spare.

If Pitbull wasn't such a tiny joke of a site (50 players on at any one time - most of them shills), I would have posted a warning here long ago. I just figured there was a <0.01% chance anyone here would bother with them.

PitbullPoker has had its shuffling algorithm independently tested by iTech Labs.

  • There are a ton of super shady sites out there, its a fact of this industry. Hence why you should always do lots of research into a company before signing up with them. Every site listed here is either UK licensed or has been around for ages with zero issues.
