requirements for raising from bb or sb

I rarely do it and usually if i do its with AA KK QQ and im all in. Sometimes I'll slowplay the monsters from sb/bb if there aren't alot of people in the pot, but if im gonna raise then im generally because ive decided im all in.

Are there times raise from sb and bb that I might not think about?

Here's some instructions I've found useful for playing in the blinds:

1. Make sure you have 2 cards.
2. Make sure no one has raised.*
3.Raise

4. Ignore #2.

I find that if the SB limps, a BB raise almost ALWAYS gets a fold.

If the BB folds too often, then you can raise any two from the SB.

If the SB limp/folds too often then you can raise any two from the BB.

If you're in bb/sb and you see a raise from c/o - sb, they usually are trying to steal blinds. If I have a stack where a reraise doesnt put me all in, and the orignal raiser isn't a calling station Ill reraise any paint, pp, A, and sometiems any K8+. If he is a super lagtard that will call any 3bet then you either just want to shove with a big hand or smooth call if you think you can stack him.

If Im short stacked, but not so that they have to call (at least 4x their bet) I'll shove with a bigger margin of hands from the blinds against c/o, button and blinds. Poker tournaments reward aggression.
