Betfair Credit Card Processing..

This is my first post here..Nice to have a poker site that is Canadian based.

I recently signed up with Betfair and for the first time ever have decided to put my own $ on the line. So I go to my Betfair acct and click add card. The I enter my Master Card that was issued by MoneyMart. I have used this card for various purchases and it has always worked fine. Once I enter CC info I click next and then I am asked to save my information that is when I get this Message "The card already exists". I check and recheck all info hit save again but same results.

So I decided to try an intermediary. I chose MoneyBookers, fill out all the info ect. They say they are going to charge CC for a small amount and that i have to confirm. Check my online statement for the charge, type it in and then I am told the amount does not match and I have to try another day. Then I learn I have to input the EUR amount charged to my card. So today I check my transactions through voice automation and it gives me an amount and an exchange processing fee. I again type in the new amt today and it is still wrong.

So, I've tried two ways to get money on to my Betfair acct and both are a bust!. What I don't understand is that Betfair is trying to get more Canadians to play with REAL money.

Anyone have any ideas how I should proceed?

I also am having a heck of a time with Betfair. I have tried MC and RBC cc, filling out form after form, apply for a verification security password, and so on. All for nothing. I am trying to get on Betfair because members of Western Canadian Poker League will be starting there trnys pretty soon on this site. This is very frustrating. Any suggestions for myself and Zendor1 would be greatly appreciated.

have you guys set your moneymart mastercards up with a secure code and confirmed it? I know i had a similar problem but once i did that its been no problem. Ohh and the tables are juicy in scandieland.

You set the Secure Code up on Betfair or with M.Mart?

It was a little difficult getting setup with Betfair. First of all I am running Vista, and did not have Microsoft ActiveX or DirectX on my computer. Went to Microsoft DirectX website and downloaded for free. Next I had to set up a secure code with my Mastercard(ATB Financial bank), then everything went very smooth. I also tried my Royal Bank Visa card, which had to have a Verification code attached, BUT RBC said they will never let transaction progress with online gaming. Good luck all.
