Another report from Ultimatebet...
Well I did it again, recently I have been playing alot of high priced sit n go tournaments. Well kinda high priced anything.
$30+3 (6 Handed)
$50+5 (6 Handed)
$100+9 (6 Handed)
I am here too report two more significant wins for me that took place today.
First was a $100+9 sit n go tournament, six handed of course. Took down second place in that, won $180.
Second is a tournament that I actually just finished. $50+5, six handed. Got down too me and another guy. I was horribly short staked, played extremely tight. Worked myself back up SLOWLY since the blinds were eating at me fast. And then a couple all ins, and double ups later and I was the winner/champ for a take home purse of $210.
I am fairly happy with all of the recent results I have been having. This past Thursday I deposited $200 into my UB account. I am now up just over $500. Have been taking some swings here and there, you know you cant win all of them. But this is the best I have been doing since last year where I netted 50K US Dollars through the whole year playing $15/$30 limit holdem.
I think that sit n go's are my new favorite. Krazy Kanuck got me addicted too them and now they are my new thing. LOL... plus they have to help with my tournament game.
A word of advice. Sit back, dont make any hasty moves for all of your chips. I see sooooo many people in Sit n Go's do this and they always lose and wonder why. Make that you are making the best possible and clear decisions when you play. Dont play tired, or when you are angry, drunk or anything else like that. Just be patient, wait for the right cards, make some well timed bluffs here and there and everything else will fall into place.
However another word of advise... it has taken me 3 years of playing poker to get to where I am today. If you follow my advice, it does not mean you will automatically be a winning player. It takes alot of hard work and dedication. A good nerve, and more. Just remember the winning players show those winning results over a long period of time... not a short one.
Just my 2 cents... feel free too respond.

...still searching for my niche...not sure I wanna play the tournaments that end so late...
Thanks,
Bill
For S & G's, I usually play tight, premium hands for the 1st 3 - 4 levels of blinds. Then, based on the number of players, stacks size of players, my stack size, and type of game, I will usually get looser, and steal a few blinds.
When it gets down to the final 4 or 5 (and 3 payout) you NEED to stay aggressive and selective, but you will also see a lot of players REALLY tighten up trying to squeek into that last spot. I try to use that to my advantage, and make a few big pre flop raises and such with 99, 10/10, jk, etc....trying to steal a few more blinds from these tightening players.
G'luck all....just my 2 cents.
