Grey Eagle Fall Classic
Calgary, AB: With yet another Canadian Poker Tour sanctioned event, The Grey Eagle Casino in Calgary, Alberta is kicking its Deep Stack action up a notch.
The Grey Eagle Casino will host a series of medium buy- in , No Limit Hold’em events in late September, with a Championship Main Event.
Thursday September 24th 2:00 PM: Event 1 will be a $200+20 featuring 25 minute levels and 7,500 starting chips.
Friday September 25th 2:00 PM: Event 2 will be a $500+50 with a healthy 10,000 starting stack and 1/2 hour blinds.
Saturday is the 2 day Championship Event is on! Also a 2 pm start, tons of poker play and value with 15, 000 starting chips and 45 minute blinds.
This is a $1500+150 with the top 10% advancing to the finals on day 2.
Sunday will feature the finals for Event #3, with the remaining players from Day 1 battling it out at 2:00 PM.
A “Sunday Special” tourney will also be played beginning at high noon. This will be a $90+10 with 20 minute levels and 5,500 in starting chips.
To many players, this is the favorite Calgary poker room and there is good poker value to be had in this series. Expect Western Canada’s best players to attend to fight for a fat prize pool.
