B.C. Trip

Myself and my family are in Port Coquitlam, B.C. visiting my father for the next week and an old friend of mine, who lives here now, managed to get three tickets to the AC/DC concert last night in Vancouver. What a show, that's all I can say. Wow! They still have the balls to the walls energy. Our next stop while here will be to an over night stay in a chalet up in Whistler. It's really nice in B.C. we're enjoying our vacation here.

  • Damn...I was listening to ACDC outside GM Place at the Edgewater Casino..lol
  • It's a toss up to who was having more fun then you or me? lol
  • I'm back from B.C. and I have to say it was the best vacation I've ever had and I didn't even get to a casino while there. The mountains are stunning, Stanley Park is awesome, AC/DC rocked the house at B.C. Place and the Peak to Peak Gondola ride was absolutely wicked. Going to be going back there A.S.A.P.
  • I was just in B.C. too, for 10 days. My wife did Ironman Canada in Penticton on the 30th. We flew to Vancouver, drove up to Whistler for a day, then went to Kelowna, Penticton (stayed in an amazing house overlooking the city), and finally the Shuswap Lake area north of Kelowna. What an amazing province!

  • Yup, I'll never leave BC :)

Currently living in Kelowna, but grew up in Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge....

    Incredible everything!
  • Nice place for sure. My dad lives in Port Coquitlam that's where we stayed the week. We visited the Terry Fox Library where his prothesis leg is on display along with gifts and accolades from around the country. It was a great time, a trip to remember.
  • I saw ACDC at the SARSstock event in toronto a few years back and thought they made the show. They are phenomenal both live and taped.

I was there too but I was able to snake my way into the front and back stage areas. That's a story I will never forget. I met Jim Cuddy and Randy Bachman, I even filled AC/DC's van with bottled water for the guys just before their show ended, I was standing right next to them as they pilled into the van and took off. I did the same for the Stones. I was passing out bottles of water into the crowd from the front stage all night, I even had the cops order the staff working the event in a Gator to go and bring me as many cases of water as they could carry on it. It was awsome!
