Damn, wish I knew that before.. I have done the same things a bunch of times and missed some tourneys that I was registered in.

You can run poker software at work?!?... Not only is anything like that banned where I work, the network security folks run little sniffer programs on our laptops to ensure that we have no non-Corporate software.

Even browsing the Internet, all poker and gambling sites are blocked... In fact, this poker website (pokerforum.ca) is the only poker site that I can access at work.

Graham - you must not have it registered or flagged as a gambling site, or something, as I can access this site from work, but no other gambling website (2+2, etc, even casino-specific websites like Lac Leamy). Don't change it; I like that I can check this one out at work.

Good luck in the micro tourneys over the next few days...

    Interesting...haha good to know. Don't worry I won't change anything ;)
  • It has to do with the fact that it is a .ca website.

It bypasses most security filters if you are a Canadian company
