Casino Rama - What's allowed inside?

I'm wondering what's allowed inside Casino Rama. Do they have anyone checking to see what you bring inside?

Would a MP3 Player be permitted?

Water? A book?

Thanks

Whaatttt??? You can't listen to music while playing? Thats pretty silly.
  • Yeah I am sure you can't have headphones in any Ontario casino that I know of....I may be mistaken but I have not seen anyone in Port Perry wear headphones...etc..
  • You certainly used to in Niagara, haven't been there in months, but it was ok then...
  • I dont think i noticed anyone in the poker rooms at niagra with headphones on last weekend, but thats not to say they arent allowed call the rooms and ask them. I know i have seen players reading books at the tables in niagra though. I wouldn't do this as you should be watching the play at the table, but if i found a dummies guide to NLHE i would definately bring it out at the table to try and throw others off.

My fav. thing to have heard about someone bringing to a poker table is the hand ranking chart.

The guy would scan down the chart with his finger and figure out how good his hand was, then act accordingly.

So when he stopped on flush, everyone with under that would fold.

Now imagine you used this as a reverse tell once you put it into people's mind that it's an accurate tell (by doing the above, then showing down that hand).

I think you'd get paid off in both directions, when you first sat down. No-one would believe it was an accurate tell (since it seems so obscure), then later on, you'd get paid off when you didn't hit a hand and made it 'seem' like you did.

Played there last week, while on holiday. Cell phones are allowed in the room, but they ask you to leave your seat to use it. As for MP3 players, I have no idea, as I did not see any, and did not ask.
