Titan poker

This isn't really a troll, I'm just curious to hear what people have to say. I've been playing on this site for a week or so multitabling 2,4 dollar 6 max SnG's. During the first day I went up so much that it felt like I could almost making a living solely off 2,4 dollar tourneys ^^'

Then it turned around completely and for the last four days I've been a loosing player at 2,4 dollar SnG's. I've suffered more bad beats during this period than I have during a long time and it's really starting to get to me. I keep seing extremely high variance boards not only for me but for a lot of people and I'm really starting to loose trust for the site. There's a huge number of fish playing these tournaments plus the jackpot so Titan would definitely profit from upping the variance.

Any thoughts? Should I shrug this off as simply variance or should try to run a hommade chi^2 test (or whichever test seems appropriate)? I'm really starting to see ghosts when it comes to this site .-.

  • You don't think you were running too good when you thought you could be making a living off $2 sngs? Its just variance, and the ipoker network is the 3rd biggest for a reason, not cheating players from low limit sngs.

+1 ... One thing to keep in mind is there are (in my opinion) a lot more really bad players than at sites that offer rakeback so the number of sick beats and suckouts will increase.
  • Just tried another session and I got screwed again and again...again ^^'

I played the titan doubles and managed to run QQ against A10, A9 against 64, I was forced to lay down a set of sixes on a scary board and busted out AK vs A10. didn't win more than one or two hands during the whole thing. Guess I'll have to endure though, but it's really frustrating
  • Forget the DoNs, just play the cash tables. They're very soft.
