Something very sick just happened ._.

ok, here's the story. I was playing 3$ rebuy mad tilt all in tourament (which is basically 100 starting chips, 100 chips for a rebuy, blinds start at 10-20 and increase every two or wtv minutes)

5 people in the tourney, first price was a 54$ ticket to a qualifier to a 320$ qualifier to a 3600$ price package for a 1400$ tourney in some random country.

This tournament is obv basically a lottery. For once I actually get ahead in it, picking myself up to around 800 chips with 3 people left. I double through the last threat and I'm up to 1400, and finally I take out the last guy and move to 1500 chips. They guy rebuys and I'm like.. "ok o.O"

I felt him again, he rebuys again, and we repeat a few times. Fnally he gets so much money in the price pool that it begins ticking towards a runner up cash price. At THIS point, when all the money he rebuys for goes back to himself, he just says gg and leaves. Sick sick sick ^^'

Firstly those tournaments should not be rebuys, but whatever I guess. Secondly, what was the 1st place prize before he started rebuying (was the ticket guaranteed or only if it got to a certain prize pool)? Regardless congrats on winning, at least he didnt make a comeback and screw you so you got the $2

It was a 54$ guarantee. But he's never recovering from being a 15 to 1 underdog when he's forced all in every hand ._. And then to stop when he can actually justify buying in, just seems messed up to me
