Cardrunners success stories.

I've just been informed about cardrunners and am a bit skeptical. I would just like to know other people's experience with them and how it has helped your game. Has your bankroll increased? More confident? Etc...

  • What is Cardrunners? a website or a program?
  • I think you are referring to my suggestion to join the site...basically I went from a breakeven player at 25nl in March to now a winning 100nl player.
    You can pm for further details on bankroll, etc...
  • Cardrunners is pretty much an automatic investment for any player looking to take their game to the next level.

    Worth every penny even if they charged double.
  • Cardrunners = nuts for cash games.

    Pwnage = nuts for MTT.

    Depends what you want to focus on.
  • Cardrunners was good when it first started out...the quality has gone down since a lot more training sites have come out etc...

    Basically the rule of thumb is, if you can afford these training sites (IE you play higher stakes than 5/10cent or 1 dollar SNGs) then it is worth the value. If you don't play higher than that or don't have the roll to support spending money in the training sites hit the forums (CPF, 2+2, P5s) and post like a mofo to learn. Essentially you will be getting the same knowledge if not better because it is tailored to you and your style.

    It's hard sometimes to watch training videos and figure out how it fits with your playing style/ability.
  • I've seen about 40 videos from CR, mostly the early Green Plastic/Muddy Water video's from 2006.
    They were very good at the time they came out.
    They emphasized LAG style playing 6 max cash NL games at 2/4, 3/6, 5/10
    I haven't seen what they have been doing lately.
  • Agreed. I have tried training sites, but have found nothing worth paying for yet. I got much higher ROI by APPLYING the information from $30 books like those of Largay, Chen and Snyder.
