playing under your bankroll

This might be a stupid question but is there a reason I keep running in to supernovas during my 5r and 8r's on stars? are these games you should keep playing even as your bankroll gets bigger? I seem to see quite a few of them around.

    they probably grind bigger cash games and are just playin those tournies just for fun

    Any rebuy tournament is highly profitable for any solid player.

    The reason is that there is so much dead money in the prizepool by the time the addon hits that its basically a huge overlay.

    Combine that with the fact that it plays like a deepstack and the scared money has no chance. Considering the prizepools in the 3R, 5R are > than a 50 fo in some cases, you can see why they will never stop playing these.
