Point Edward Blue Water Classic IX

Bumped into this, not my regular CPT plug and many may already know but...
The 2009 Blue Water Classic Tournament, 4:00pm on September 25th, and at 12 noon on the 26th and 27th.

Doesn't list a buy in, mentions sats from June 2nd till the tourney date.

  • The Point Edward satellites are well underway, with some players already having won coins for the two $600+ tournaments on September 25 and 26. Anybody interested in joining a car pool to Point Edward for any of the +EV satellites, e.g.,
    - Tuesdays, 6 PM, $60 rebuy satellites
    - On-demand satellites with weird escalating fees, where a $60+$5 and $120+$10 satellite would have a lower rake (7.7%) than the higher buy-in satellites, e.g., $300+$30 (9.1%)! ???

I keep getting a lot of free offers from Caesars Windsor, including two free nights, so I am thinking of killing two birds with one stone, e.g.,
    - stay for free at Caesars Windsor on a Tuesday and Wednesday night
    - play the Point Edward satellite on the Tuesday night
    - play at Caesars Windsor on Wednesday
    - on Thursday morning, drive back and play in the Casino Brantford tournament
    - for the true degenerate, consider driving back to Point Edward for the $100+$15 Thursday 6 PM tournament.
  • Geesh Buddy, don't you have a job? lol...
  • A forumer wants to go to the Tuesday rebuy satellites at Point Edward Casino, so I may carpool with him next month. There may be room for one more person.

    did you go on tuesday?

what was it like, how players and how many seats were given out?
  • I was there yesterday and was told they gave away 9 seats. This number is 2 or 3 short of what they have been giving away the previous month of tourney's.

Warning: some of the dealers are brutal. Even though I have a decent record there, the dealers (not all the dealers but the place is small so the rotation is small) attitude, skill, and customer service are driving me back to brantford.

I heard he has a 2% share interest in Fallsview Casino; traded in his frequent player points :) Got to give him kudos for his detailed posts, with the various links and all. Nice work! Surprised you haven't started your own Canadian poker site yet. Probably would be a big hit.
