are there taxes on winnings in a ept tourney?
is it different tax rates in the host countries?

    AFAIK, most of the EPT, WSOPE, LAPT, Dominican Republic, APT Macau, Bahamas and Canada don't tax your tournament winnings That is why I would much rather win a seat to any of the above countries instead of the US, which seems to be the worst country for Canadians to buy into a tournament.
