I don't usually bitch to much about bad beats, but after my session tonight, I really have to vent and also try to convince myself ONCE AGAIN, that online poker is not rigged.
I have no idea how to post hand histories, so I'll just type my sad stories for all.
First bad beat,...and this is the one where one really has to try and believe online poker isn't rigged.
I was in a an $11 SnG with 9 players. Blinds were up to 120/60 and with 4 players remaining (of course i HAD to be on the bubble) and myself with a little over $ 1900 in chips, I wake up to pocket Aces. With checking all around, I'm in the cutoff position, and the guy to my right decides to bump it up to $480. I'm in heaven, so I go All In KNOWING i've got the best of it! The next thing I know, this guy calls and has me covered by $20!!! We flip...and this donktard has 3,6 off suit!!!! What an idiot!!! I can't believe my luck...but then it hits me...even a total moron would NEVER call a $2000 all in with such terrible cards...what the hell is going on?!! Can he SEE the future!!! Sure enough the flop comes K,Q,9....turn...a 3...river...a 3.....CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SHIT!!!
So, I'm so pissed off with Pstars at this point, i take a breather, and decide to go back to my tried and true, beloved Full Tilt, where bad beats usually take a holiday.
Bad beat #2
Once again, on the bubble in a $12 SnG this time. Blinds are at $200/$100 . I'm dealt pocket 8's in the small blind. Donktard #2 is in mid position and only calls the $200. I decide to bump it to $400 to hopefully get rid of the BB, and he does fold. D2 calls.
The flop comes A diamonds, K Clubs, 8 Spades...a pretty rainbow, and a flopped set to boot!!! LOVELY!!!! Donktard all of a sudden bets out $1200!!! What!!! He must have Aces!!! I'm gonna win!!! So,... I go all in!
He's got me covered by $200, and calls!!! I flip my 8's,and he flips.....wait for it....4, 6 suited HEARTS!!!! BINGO!!! GOT HIM!!! But wait...what kind of an idiot would follow thru with that kind of hand? He has no pair, he has no draw,...he's gotta KNOW that I'M not bluffing...but then again, what am I thinking?, he has a possible straight...a bastardized one at that, but a very very very long shot........not that long...5 on the turn, 7 on the river......I just want to go and throw up now....
