$50+5 mtt snap fold set on river?

Villain is 16/8 over tiny 25 hand size-sample so basically no reads...do we really think he'd just call the turn with a FD?
Also, are most of you just flatting with JJ here pre?

  • Flat pre is good early I think.

The only possible hand he has that plays it like this is AKcc so thats a pretty tight range. Its a puke spot but Im not sure I can get away.

If you're beat its more likely by QQ
  • He doesn't check/call that flop with AKc so I would rule that out, same with KQc. QQ would be really weird to play that way. I think you have him.
  • Raise pre. Shove turn. Life simple.

Interesting...what is your reasoning for shoving the turn? I feel that by shoving the turn we're losing lots of value from many weaker hands that will fold to a shove, whereas by betting close to pot we keep in these weaker hands, like pps, even flush draws, that are calling the turn without getting the proper price for their draw.
