Can M zones be used effectively in Fast/Turbo?

I have heard this argued a few times, and also that Harrignton designed it for deepstack/slow structures.

In your typical low limit game live, by the time blinds hit 200-400 or even 150-300, most average stacks will have 10-15 M tops, commit to a normal raise and c-bet here, and have to fold, dropping quickly into the danger zones....

A better example was the hand I posted about pocket 10's at final.

I mention 2.5 M, but looking harder, there was 104 players or 416K in play

At 41k Average stack, and blinds 5-10k, There is les than 30 M in play in the whole tourney, or about 3 M per player, even backing it up a level at a time, Most players if not al,l had less than 10 M for hours.

This of course keeps everyone out of the green zone, and at the end most are in the red or only slightly better.

Can it be used as more than just a baseline in these games?
