WSOP Event #51 Update

I busted right at the end of Level 1 LOL

Here is what happened.

1st hand - I had pocket queens and raise 4x the big blind and get to callers.
Flop comes Qs3hJs, checked to me I bet 600, first players calls (Patrick Antonious' fiancee) calls, second player raises all in for 700 more, I push all in and the fiancee folds, second player shows AsTs for flush/royal flush draw and hit his flush on the turn.

2nd hand - AhQh one behind the button, I raise again 4x big blind, dealer calls, everyone else folds. Flop AxQx7x rainbow, I bet and called, turn 2x, I bet and called, river 7x, I bet and called, dealer shows Ax7x for a rivered full house.

I now have 1200 left with one minute in level 1 then we go to 50/100.

I am middle position with pocket J's and push all in behind an UTG raise of 3x the big blind, and it is folded to the UTG who then asks for a count and thinks for a bit and then calls leaving him with 500 left, which he basically slow rolls me with asking for a count and for me to show my hand when he finally tables pocket A's.

Greg(crazykoby) is still in, with diiner at the end of this level. I will update Greg's status after the break

  • Greg has about 10k in chips with the average of about 12k. There is probably just under 1000 players left when they return from dinner
  • i'm always paranoid about the first hand; seen too many lower flush draws get busted. Those are two sick hands and no one could walk away from.
  • Next time grab your chair and slam it on his head for slow rolling you like that. tough one man
  • Unlucky Man! Thanks for the Updates.
  • Greg(crazykoby) is onto to Day 2 with 42,300 in chips average is around 35k. About 60 more players need to bust to make it into the money.
