Stampede Classic in Calgary

Looks like the go rounds start on July 1st for $350 and run through to the 11th. Finals are on the 12th with the option to buy straight in for $3000 for those not wanting to player the quicker paced qualifiers.

I know alot of players come out for Stampede and there will be a hell of alot of party going on day and night here in Calgary. This is where the 1-2 game can make for some of the best pickings all year. Everyone with a cowboy hat and a bellyfull of Budweiser is "poker expert" at Stampede.

Not a bad road trip for some to consider.

    Do you know how they are running the daily qualifiers this year? The year I went down for it (few years ago), they took 33 entries, running 2 / day, 3 from every 33 advanced to the final.....but you took your accumulated chips with you.

    They are running them super sat style, 10% of field gains entry into the finals, everyone starts with same chip count. You coming?
