Analyse my three consecutive hands please!

Hi all

I am fairly new to texas hold em poker but have been reading up on it and learning over the last 8 months.

I played the following three consecutive hands recently as shown below and I would appreciate any feedback with regards how I played each of them. My name in the list below is Paul 1234567.

Thanks in advance!

Paul

Comments

  • Hand one --

Interesting hand. I like the call on the button, but, with a raise from the SB and a call from the BB, the 2:1 pot odds would be enough to make me fold. Post flop, good bet with the $1.37. His all-in seems desperate -- KK or QQ, perhaps? Regardless, you're still leading. QT is a much weaker hand than I would've anticipated.

    Hand two --

This loss is more bad luck than anything. Standard raise with suited AK, flop was rainbow. Even if your opponent has AK or AQ of a different suit, you both have the same odds to backdoor the flush. I would've called too.
