10-20 Limit Omaha Hi Game
Hi wanna_retire here(new to forum)
Just a heads up for all you limit omaha players in Sarnia, London and Windsor area.
OLG Casino Pt. Edward has a 10-20 limit omaha game every Friday and Saturday night. The game is very loose and rake is 10% up to 5$ max. The game starts at about 7pm on friday and usually runs till about 2am. On Saturday game starts at about 5pm and usually runs till 6am(sometimes longer)
The poker room takes callins (519-333-3944) and gives 90 mins to show up.
The casino also offers 2 weekly tournaments Thursday at 6pm (100 +10$)and Saturday at 4pm (50 +10$) There is 50 player max for each tourney and a very good blind structure.

The casino also offers two bigger tournament series two times a year(Bluewater Classic ), the next one is Sept 23-27 2009 and consists of 150$ 300$ and 600$ tournaments with 120 players and very generous starting stacks blind structures. The 600$ tournament has 2 qualifying days and top 10% of field carry over their chips to square off for the final on the Sunday. First place for the last classic was $36000.
60$ rebuy sats are run every Tuesday till Sept 25 2009 (or till sold out for the main event of the BlueWater Classic(660$) Winners receive tokens which are transferrable)
Any way thats all for now and if anyone has any info on some good tournaments coming up in near future I would be interested in some info.
Thanks wanna_retire

The rebuy tournament for the blue water is THE worst structured rebuy tournament ever.
Seat is worth $660.
Buy = $60
rebuy = $60
add on = $60
In other words, if a player did 1 of each, he/she would have already spent $180 towards a $660 seat.
I always thought the idea was to promote lots of activity and action in a rebuy tourney, not sedate the action.
As for the omaha, it is a very good action game...
Is there a PLO tourney for this series?
Agree with J10off....looks like your rebuy tourney should be more like $20, but, I guess players will play accordingly.
$10-$20 Omaha Limit is a great game, wish they'd start it here.
Agreed +1
DC games here in Calgary are great, tend to be mostly PLO with some Crazy Pineapple. Where do they spread the 1/2 PLO 1/2 PLH games in Edmonton, I will be working there soon and would love to check them out.
I know at casino Baccarat downtown there used to be a 10-20 limit Omaha8 game that ran at times. No idea if it still runs though.
I know Baccarat has alot of Omaha, I believe Yellowhead either has 5/5 DC, or 5/5 PLO on Friday nights. Where are you working GTA?
Argyll (Casino Edmonton ABS) is your best choice for PLO. They have a 2-5 going quite often.....only problem is, quite often it will be NLO.
Yellowhead is hit and miss for their weekend PLO's (ie. last Saturday one finally got started when I was leaving (about midnight)....would be a lucrative game, it was tough to pull myself out of there.
NLO... ewww. Take a perfectly good game, then donkify it so there's no skill needed to play well with vulnerable flopped hands like straights, especially out of position
Still, I will have to check this out. I haven't been to Argyll in ages.
