  • Why not take the free or cheap bus to the Niagara casinos? I plan to head out to Fallsview Casino tonight or tomorrow.
    i'm taking the bus!
  • I actually found those bus trips to Fallsview and ended up going! Great decision. The trip was damn near free and very convenient!!!!
  • You're welcome. I'm surprised a lot of players get into the habit of only playing in an illegal club and paying a lot higher rake, without at least occasionally taking the almost-free bus or carpooling to the casino.

On Saturday night, there was a 5/10 Limit, a 10/20 NL and a 5/10 NL table at Fallsview. Unfortunately, the tilty and fishy 5/10 NL table broke soon after I sat down, but I made money at 5/5.

time is money Buddy; ever time I take one of those 'free' casino shuttles, it takes me 1.5 to get to the casino where I usually have to wait on average another hour plus for a table. Last time I was at Casino Niagara, I had to wait over 2.5 hours to play 1/2. That's a total of 4-5.5 hours of wait time!

Its a lot easier to drive 15 minutes down to your local club, and get right in the game the minute you walk in the door. If you pick the right club, chances of getting busted are practically non-existent, especially these days with new clubs opening weekly in the GTA.

I guess the bus thing might make more sense for those who play a few times a week and they are playing higher limits, where it might be hard to find a game at those levels in the city.
