Impromptu Vegas trip in August??

OK, I just got this email from Spirit Air, I can fly to Vegas (out of Detroit)several different dates in August for $9. each way cuz I'm a Spirit member. Total would be $49. US round trip all taxes in per person. Now I know it's hot and not sure if there's anything particular going on at that time but I'm thinking about it. Anyone interested? Thing is it has to be booked by tomorrow evening....

    I think he is looking at a group trip, so I assume he can get tickets for everyone.

    If return is on August 25 or 26, I'm interested! I'm more flexible on departure, e.g., $340 CPT tournaments on August 17 & 18 and a PLO tournament on August 20.

    Yep, I can get multiple tickets not sure how many. Also I know they go quick, last November when I booked my early Dec trip, they were gone in a few hours as I recall. I would only book these for someone I know as they would go on my Visa and they are non cancellable and non transferrable..

    The excellent TD at the CPT Finals and World Poker Showdown events at the Dominican Republic is also the TD at Hard Rock Cafe Casino, so it looks like they all agreed to have the next big CPT/WPS series at Hard Rock. I've sent an email to ask for the structure details.

    Is anybody interested in joining the CPT Canadian Invasion, e.g., August 16-25? If anybody happens to notice a cheap flight for that time, please post or PM me.

    Sorry guys, just checked Spirit's website under my logon and virtually all of the dates at that price are now gone, and it's back to the regular price of $125. each way, plus taxes so it looks like we are out of luck for this one. They went even faster than the last one I booked in November, less than 4 hrs. What I can do, since I have almost unlimited flexibility on travel dates, is watch for the next sale like this, and there will be more and book very quickly. For those of you who have some flexibility and want to give me a way to contact you quickly, I will take names & numbers and then call you when I see another opportunity like this. We wil only have a matter of hours to make the decision though. I expect more of these sales through the fall.

    Sorry again about getting some hopes up......

    I didn't book any in Aug at all. I would have if we had others that wanted to go but all those cheap flights are now gone. Trouble is the decision has to be made almost right away for these.

    Look, I will try to co-ordinate a future trip like this when I see it again if some people want me to. Just pm me your interest and cell phone number or some other way to get hold of you quickly. Note this offer is only open to respected forum members or someone I know personally.. What I would do is contact the individual members, give them an hour or two to respond, then if they confirm a go, book the flights using my own credit card. They can pay me back later. We'll also co-ordinate agendas, hotels, travel to detroit, etc after the fact. They are all easy.

    I would most likely be in with a little more notice than 1 day.. its hard to decide things that fast for me ;)

    Still looking at last w/e in Aug. Aug.30-Sep.3. Hotels are cheap cheap cheap. Sunwing flight from TO is on sale right now for $361.09. Can anyone do better than that? Buffalo or Detroit options as well.

    a day is just not gonna happen, these things go within a few hrs, this one was all gone in 4....
