Looking for Live Tourney this Summer

Hi,

I'm looking for a live tourney with a buy in of around $2000 at any casino between Manitoba and Newfoundland this summer. I've got a sponsorship and am making this trip anyways, so am hoping to combine the two.

I've looked online at Fallsview and other casinos, but can't seem to find anything.

If anyone can help, that would be great!

Great Blue Heron got a couple of $500/$1000 buy in tournaments aroudn the time frame that you provided.

Unfortunately, 13CARDS isn't around here anymore, but you can phone Fallsview's toll-free number if their ~$1,240 and other WPT tournaments will start this summer.

Blondefish, are they even hosting the WPT tourney this year? I was checking the WPT website yesterday and it wasn't on their tournament list that I could see. Wondering if its been dropped.

WPT has not announced Season 8 yet, as far as I am aware of.

Yeah I sent off a couple emails. Got a reply from the Media/Communications department at Fallsview stating there is no information as of yet on a 2009 event and to check back later.

if you want to play any of their tournaments it i sbest to phone in ahead of time and pay for your seat via credit card as they tend to sell out at 110 players

I can't imagine them dropping NAPC as it is one of their most (if not the most) popular tournaments.
