world poker tour being shown on tsn, started at 730 till 900, so almost over, wonder if tsn picked up the rights to wpt.

    yup it is season 6, but some wpt is better then none being shown in Canada.


    Maybe they are trying to see what kind of ratings it will get before showing season 7?

    wow tsn really going with this, looks like almost every day they are showing a event, with the napc on Tuesday.

    No Hockey....
    No Basketball....
    Sportsnet has most of the Jays games....

    It was a toss up between poker and the spelling B.

    I think this is temporary filler.....

    I must say that I have been enjoying watching the WPT broadcasts on TSN.

    I find that they show more hands; specifically the somewhat non-eventful ones where a player raises in EP and takes down the blinds. You get to see a bit more of the game and not just the big pots.

    Much better than what ESPN showed for the ME Final table last year... what did they show, something like two hands after they were heads-up. Obviously there are time restrictions, but I have liked what I have seen lately.
