In short...learned the Watts technique. Saving the run good for the end.
Long story...played the $33R on PokerStars which paid out a seat, 2nd to 14th got like $650, and 15th got like $500~. There wasn't really too many difficult spots I was in for the tournament, for the most part it I was average stack, and went on a header to go to chip lead with about 80 players left. Within 1 orbit, I basically went from 30K to 120K when the previous CL was only at about 70K. After that pretty much cruised 'til we hit the money. The real fun started when we got 4 handed, and then 3 handed. Stacks were still relatively deep so there was alot of preflop raising and 3-betting with barely any post-flop game. It was pretty much just a matter of either a cooler, or someone making a miss-timed move. Out of the 4 guys left, timex was obv. the one guy I didn't want to play HU, but we got to it with him having a 3:2 chip lead. Exchanges back and fourth, probably got pwned a few times, but got lucky and started picking up hands which made HU play ALOT easier - first won a KQ > Q7 to double and take a 3:2 lead, and finally won A7 > 76 for the seat.
I'll probably play Sunday if I had to choose...although it is tough to pass up on the parties on July 4.
Are you still planning to choose Day 1C, Sunday, July 5? There will be a Fourth of July private party at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace like last year.
Congrats....always good to run good when you are deep ...gl in ME....any pieces for sale (that goes at any forumer who wants to sell who is playing the ME)

Congrats! I updated the list of forumers playing. Are you still planning to choose Day 1C, Sunday, July 5? There will be a Fourth of July private party at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace like last year.
Unsure right now..haha. Might wait until Monday to play myself now. Is Everest hosting it again this year?
Yes, in addition to the PokerStars Party at The Palms, PartyPoker at Monte Carlo hosted by Mike Sexton, 2+2 at Hard Rock, etc. Who's got time to play poker with all these free food, booze and entertainment?

You got an invite for the Everest one for me?
I'm gonna hit up the 2+2 and Poker Stars one for sure, and I'm assuming Bluff will have one as well...
Yes. You got an invite for the PokerStars Player Party for me if - make that WHEN - we're still around on July 9?
I think the Bluff party was on the eve of the WSOP, so I haven't heard of any more parties from Bluff, PocketFives, PF.ca, etc. One of the forumers has to pick up the slack and throw a party after their win!

Bluff is looking at July 2nd last I read on the forums, they're still looking for a sponsor.
