I have no idea how Watts didn't hit his A or flush there with that flop.
  • ADZ chippin up:

    Brunson Bounced
Before the flop, Matthew Marafioti opened with a raise to 12,500, then Doyle Brunson reraised to 62,500. Marafioti responded by pushing all in, and Brunson called with his remaining 63,500. Marafioti Ts.gifTc.gif Brunson Kh.gifQh.gif The board came Jh.gif6s.gif8c.gifTd.gif6c.gif, and Marafioti's tens had held. Brunson is out, and Marafioti now has 540,000.
  • Ivey's out, and this time it's official:

Ivey Eliminated, Mizzi on the Move
After David "WhooooKidd" Baker limped from middle position, Humberto Brenes raised to 26,000 behind, then Phil Ivey reraised by shoving his last 84,000 all in. Sorel Mizzi then kicked it up to 150,000 from the small blind, pushing both Baker and Brenes out. Mizzi 10h.gif10c.gif Ivey Ah.gifQd.gif We had ourselves a race situation, Vince. The community cards came Jc.gif6h.gif6s.gif9d.gifKd.gif, and Ivey is out. Mizzi is now up to 760,000.
  • yes i am out :p, was going to say the same thing "official",LOL like how can you get phil ivey mixed up with another player???
  • ADZ124 (Matt M) sitting 9th out of 23 right now....go canada go...we need him to score big for the cash games up in woodbridge.....lol
  • Matthew Marafioti Eliminated in 12th Place ($172,120)

Ted Forrest raised to 120,000 from under the gun, Isaac Haxton reraised to 375,000 from the hijack seat, then Matthew "adz124" Marafioti shoved all in for 595,000. Tony G thought a while before folding from the big blind, Forrest took less time to fold, then Haxton quickly made the call.

    Haxton kh.gifkd.gif
    Marafioti qh.gifqc.gif

Bad timing for Marafioti. The board ran out ah.gif2c.gif5s.gifda.gifjh.gif, and Haxton won the hand. (Tony G and Forrest discussed afterwards what might have been had Tony G stuck around.)

Marafioti is out in 12th place, earning $172,120. Haxton, meanwhile, has moved up to 2.385 million.
  • lol, tough cooler, exactly what I just went out with tonight in the Pockets club tourney, my QQ vs chip leaders KK.... I didn't get my Q either, slightly less $$$ though..... Congrats.....
  • ted forrest out in 9th 230,317 dollars for him
  • Hand #25 - Noah Schwartz Eliminated in 8th Place ($246,834)

Justin Bonomo has the button. Noah Schwartz moved all in from early position for 955,000. It folded to Greg Raymer who reraised all in, and the others folded.

    Schwartz da.gifkh.gif
    Raymer ah.gifas.gif

Pocket aces weren't working too well for Raymer yesterday -- he lost twice with them, then on a third hand Ted Forrest had aces as well, and he chopped the pot. But he appeared to be in good shape against Schwartz's hand here.

The flop came 8d.gifjs.gif7h.gif, and Raymer was still well ahead. The turn was the 5c.gif, meaning the 2d.gif no longer mattered. Schwartz goes out in 8th place, earning $246,834. After that hand, Raymer moves up to 2.775 million.
  • Hand #47 - Lex Veldhuis Eliminated in 7th Place ($277,939)

Justin Bonomo has the button in Seat 6. Greg Raymer opens for 200,000 and Lex Veldhuis moves all in from the small blind for 1,265,000. Raymer makes the call. Veldhuis Ad.gif7d.gif Raymer Kd.gifKs.gif Veldhuis misses the flop, which comes down Jh.gif6c.gif2c.gif. The turn is the Qc.gif , still no help for Veldhuis, who is looking for one of the three remaining aces. He doesn't find it, though, the river falling the 10s.gifto send him to the rail. Veldhuis is eliminated in 7th place, earning $277,939 while Raymer adds to his ever-growing stack.
  • Hand #52 - Alec Torelli Eliminated in 6th Place ($329,730)

Isaac Haxton has the button in Seat 4. Alec Torelli open-shoves from the cutoff for 1,055,000, and Haxton calls. Torelli Ah.gif2h.gif Haxton As.gif10d.gif The flop is great for Haxton coming down Qh.gifJc.gif8d.gif. The turn is the Qs.gif, giving Torelli some outs to a chop, but the river is the 5s.gif and Torelli is eliminated in 6th place. He'll take home $329,730 for his efforts. Haxton is now up to approximately 4.6 million
  • Hand #76 - Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 5th Place ($413,166)

Vitaly Lunkin has the button in Seat 9. Justin Bonomo opens for 250,000, Isaac Haxton calls from the small blind and Greg Raymer calls from the big blind. The flop is 10d.gif9h.gif3h.gif. Haxton leads out for 300,000, Raymer folds, and Bonomo moves all in for 2,775,000. Haxton calls. Bonomo Jd.gifJc.gif Haxton Ad.gifAc.gif Only a jack will save Bonomo at this point. The turn is the 2d.gif, the river is the As.gif and Bonomo is eliminated in 5th place, earning $413,166. Haxton is now up to nearly 8 million and has taken over the chip lead.
