Sam's Game - New Poker TV Show
Norm MacDonald is one of my favorite comedians so I will definitely be watching this. Looks like a cool new poker show:

"Al Queda's videos have a bigger budget"
He's Artie Lange - a stand-up comedian (/actor/author) who is currently best known as a regular cast member on the Howard Stern Show.
Lange and Norm MacDonald are very good friends. Lange's first movie roll was in MacDonald's 1998 film Dirty Work.
Lange can be extremely funny on the radio. He and MacDonald have some very good stories about their adventures together and I presume some of them will come out in this show. I'm a MacDonald fan, as well. This, however, was a really bad choice of clips to use as a promo. Neither of them come off as funny at all. Lange is an on-again, off-again heroin addict. Maybe he was fucked up during the taping.
Sam Simon really fucked over a number of the celebrity players with this show. He asked them to do the show for free as "a personal favour to him", but failed to mention to them that the chips represented real money and were also not a payment for their services (all chips 'on account' with him). Accordingly, a few of them played loose (even against the real poker pros) thinking there was no downside. After the taping was over, some celebs unexpectedly received bills from Simon for $10k+ in the mail. Lange makes loads of $$$ and could easily afford his bill. There was at least one c-lister who took a hit he really couldn't afford.
Ouch.. thats pretty rough. Where did you find that?
On a side note I found the Tilly/Paraguay one... hilarious.

I listen to the Stern show every day and heard all about it from Lange right after the taping.
Norm was on two weeks ago. He and Lange were friggin' awesome together (Lange is currently off the smack).

Being a big Lange fan, I feel the need to add some of his better work. Here is a great appearance earlier this year on the Late Show with David Letterman:

Looks like a hilarious show, if you don't care about watching some poker...
