Poker Chip Question

I am looking into purchasing some poker chips an was wondering if there is a big difference between the 9 g and the 11.5 g chips besides the 2.5 g? Is the 2.5 g a very noticeable difference? Is the physical size of the chips the same? Any help would be appreciated

    Does anyone know if Costco re-stocked on the 500 pc 11.5g poker chip sets?

    I heard it was available at the Ajax location. I am located in Mississauga so if someone can confirm then I will make the journey out there.
