From a company in Toronto, I was thinking of spending around $100 ish
Those look pretty nice and if its $100 with shipping thats not too bad. I am pretty sure costco and walmart will sell the cheaper 11.5g ones for less, but the ones you posted looke nicer than those. Have you checked ebay also?
I checked out E-bay, it seems that with shipping charges the deals are not much better, plus there is always the chance of having to pay addtional fees when bringing items across the border. I checked for Canadian E-Bay sales and did not see much listed there.

Johnnie's suggestion about chip.net s a good one. I bought a cash set last year and they have been good to use.
Golf season is upon us, so I don't get on very regularly,
Ugh 14 gram chips are so heavy you will hate them after a while. Also cash or tourney set? Most tourney sets are 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000.
The denominations are $1,$5,$10,$25,$50 I am guessing that is a cash game set.
Hey I'm not kidding I am a newb lol, I have only played Low level ring games and micro buy in tourneys on poker stars. I also do the free-rolls on Full tilt and A/P, thats it so far.
At this point I only intend to play home games with friends until I stop being a horrible player!
I meant do you want to play tournaments or cash games. If you want to play both you are better off with a non-denominated set so you can set the values to anything you want.

O i see, I guess I would be better off with non denominations then they could be anything, does that get confusing?
moose, are you out? Or is it dinner break? Wish I could have made it out. My Jubilee 1/4 pies should be in next week. Slide over to HPT to see the pix . . .
