Interest in rake free home game in Milton?

I want to know if there will be interest in a rake free home game in Milton. I have a new house and I would likely run it out of the garage. We can play STT or cash games (NL Holdem)...doesn't matter to me.

I only have 1 poker table, but no chairs, so we need to figure out how to get some chairs. Also, I would want to run on Friday nights, and possibly Saturday night (but only on one night a week).

I am also open to having rake free satellite tournaments for local casinos. Prize would be cash though.

For all the Milton poker players and others in the vicinity that may be interested, let me know your thoughts here please.

    Why don't you come out to one of the free bar games that run Wed nights at Charlie Fizwhiskeys? Good group that has been playing together for quite a while, usually get 20-25 players each week. We used to run on Monday nights as well with 30-45 players but lost the venue recently and are currently looking for a new location. You can always ask around there and see how many are interested. I would be glad to introduce you...

    Okay. I remember you informed me about that previously. I will try and come out this wed, or next week wed. What time does it start and what time should I show up to register?

    That sounds good. I have a couple of chairs from a mini patio set that could be used as well actually. The more players, the better.

    If STT tourneys were run, we could play any buy-in that was agreed to. Doesn't really matter to me. If the buy-in was low, the blinds would go up faster...higher buy-ins would have the blinds increase a little slower to allow for more play.

    Also, Acid, I will shoot you a PM for those chairs.
    BF, those two nights are the only possible ones for now.

    One thing I forgot to mention, is that it would be self deal. Hope everyone is okay with that.

    Starts at 7:30, guy who organizes it is Mark, he plays on out Rocks team at the Royal... where we are defending champs..... lol... take that Wloo....

    Let me know which week you plan to go as I only go occasionally.

    This Wednesday - May 27, 2009 at 7:45pm. We'll go until the game breaks.
    If I have a total of 8 players confirmed, I'll run. Sorry for the short notice.

    This is rake free

    $1/$2 NL - Max buy in $200
    Location: Milton (near Derry Rd + Bronte Rd). Will PM address to confirmed players. We'll play in my large garage at my new house. BYOB and your snacks.

    (Or if you guys want to play a tourny, we can do that as well. Let me know what you want to play).

    Note: If anyone would like to sell me some more chairs for cheap, please PM. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up a bunch from AcidJoe tomorrow.
