Tried to get tickets for the 2004 "Farewell" tour when they said they weren't ever going to tour again. Couldn't.
I know they are past-prime. But would rather see it in a smaller venue with decent sound then at say Bayfest outdoors with 30 000 other people and horrible sound. The last 2 big shows I was at (Skydome) both blew from sound and seats perspective.
Cost was a little steep, but taking the wife (she loves the reality show). Should be a good time.
Friend at work was making fun that I got tix, but then again he is going to see L. Cohen (living fossil) in Hamilton so tell me, which one is more past prime?
they are not giving away any tickets, so 140 a pop you gotz to wonder how many mirrions they paid them to come, it will be packed in there those 2 nights.
Having checked the ticket prices on ticketmaster, cheapest seems to be $170+. Completely sold out, as expected with such a small venue. Wonder if they will keep any tickets for the poker room as I recall them giving out tickets to the players on the night of the show for other artists. Might be worth the drive up just to play some 1/2 against the Kiss Army. Definitely will be a fun couple of nights at the poker tables.
